Leesburg's Baylie Bridges reaches 1,000-point plateau, November 16, 2011

Leesburg senior girls basketball player Baylie Bridges eclipsed 1,000 points for her career Tuesday night.

Bridges scored 19 points in a 54-13 win over Lake Weir. She entered the game with 994 points and now has 1,013 points.

"She's been my starting point guard from Day 1," Leesburg coach Mark Oates said. "She comes in every day ready to work. She's a true leader in every sense of the word.
