LEESBURG - The Lady Jackets of Leesburg High School began preparing for the 2012-2013 season
today. Head Coach Mark Oates enters his 10th season as the leader of the Lady Jackets Basketball
program. He has won 185 games since taking over the program in 2003.
Oates led the Lady Jackets to a school record 29 wins in the 2007-2008 season and has five seasons of 20 or more victories. The Lady Jackets are coming off its first losing season in 9 years and are looking to return back to the State Final Four for the 4th time under Oates leadership.
"I feel like we will bounce back this season from a very disappointing campaign in 2012," Oates said in a
interview with Gerald Lacey. "Teams will know that they have been in a game when they finish playing
us." READ MORE CLICK BELOW
