Gerald Lacey:
Good Morning Coach Oates.
Mark Oates:
Hi Gerald
Gerald Lacey:
What caused you guys to fall into a hole early in the game?
Good Morning Coach Oates.
Mark Oates:
Hi Gerald
Gerald Lacey:
What caused you guys to fall into a hole early in the game?
Mark Oates:
"We didn't come out with any intensity to start the game. We were very casual getting back on defense and we didn't stop dribble penetration. I have to do a better job of preparing the team so that they are ready to play"
Gerald Lacey:
"Going into the season one of the questions concerning your squad was how well would they do in the rebounding department. It appeared that you did well on the offensive boards with a team total of 24."
Mark Oates:
"We are not boxing out and rebounding the way we need to in order to be a good team."

"I love my girls and by season's end we will be where we need to be, LAKELAND. Our motto this season is " Win 2 at the 4." Mark Oates |

Gerald Lacey:
Tametria Simmons appears to have maybe filled the rebounding void do you have any comments on her game at this point in the season?
Mark Oates:
"Tametria is an outstanding young lady who works hard and gives 100% at all times. She is still in the early stages of her career being that this is her second season of organized ball."
Gerald Lacey:
Mark Oates:
"The foul trouble of Perry , Russell and Kelly down the stretch didn't help."
Gerald Lacey:
Was it defensive pressure by Gainesville that caused your team to commit 19 turnovers if so would you do to cut down on them in your upcoming game against Vanguard?
Mark Oates:
"We didn't not value the ball and made careless turnovers repeatedly all night. Gainesville is a very good team and we made them even better early last night. I thought that midway through the third quarter we started playing Lady Jacket basketball. We overcame what had once been an eighteen point lead and actually went ahead by one. We got back in the gym today and worked hard on becoming a better team and I think we did that. I love my girls and by season's end we will be where we need to be, LAKELAND. Our motto this season isWin 2 at the 4."

Ashley Perry, Joharra Russell and Marshanique Kelly all fouled out of the game. How early were you guys in foul trouble and how did that affect your game plan?
